MomS Hot Clam Dip
Ingredients
- 2 cans minced clams
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 1 medium onion
- 1 clove garlic
- 12 green pepper
- 1 tsp parsley
- 1 tsp oregano
- 14 lb butter or margarine
- dash of Tabasco
- dash of red cayenne pepper
Directions
- Need a 9-inch pie plate
- Simmer the clams and lemon juice for 15 minutes
- Mince and simmer the other ingredients in the butter until soft
- Combine the 2 mixtures
- Add 12 cup Italian bread crumbs
- Top with crumbled Velveeta cheese or grated cheese and coat with paprika
- Bake in oven 20 minutes at 350
- Serve with Triscuits or other crackers
