MomS Peach Pie
Ingredients
- 1 egg white
- 1 unbaked pastry shell
- 6 large fresh peaches peeled and sliced
- 34 c all-purpose flour
- 12 c packed brown sugar
- 13 c sugar
- 14 c chilled butter cut into 6 pieces
Directions
- Beat egg white until foamy brush over bottom and side of pastry
- In small bowl combine flour and sugars cut butter into mixture until it resembles fine crumbs
- Sprinkle 23 of mixture in bottom of crust top with peaches
- Sprinkle with remaining crumb mixture
- Bake at 375 for 40 to 45 minutes or until filling is bubbly and peaches are tender
- Yields 6 to 8 servings
