Monterey Beans And Cheese
Ingredients
- 12 medium onion sliced
- 12 green pepper diced
- 2 c cooked kidney beans
- 2 ripe tomatoes
- 34 c tomato sauce
- 1 tsp chili powder optional
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions
- Fry the first 3 ingredients Add the remaining ingredients Cook slowly stirring until blended about 5 minutes Sprinkle 14 to 12 pound Cheddar cheese on top
- Put lid on for 2 minutes or until cheese is melted Serve on top of rice or mix with rice Serve with carrots
