Ingredients

  • mostaccioli noodles
  • 2 lb ground chuck
  • 2 6 oz cans tomato paste
  • 2 cans water
  • 1 Tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 18 tsp pepper
  • 1 12 tsp oregano
  • 1 12 tsp basil
  • Parmesan cheese

Directions

  1. Bring a 3-quart saucepan full of water to a boil
  2. Add mostaccioli noodles and simmer until tender
  3. Drain and set aside Brown ground chuck in a skillet and drain off any grease
  4. In a large saucepan add tomato paste water sugar salt pepper oregano and basil
  5. Heat and simmer
  6. Add browned meat mixture Simmer the tomato-meat mixture for at least 12 hour
  7. Next add noodles and serve with Parmesan cheese and buttered garlic bread
