Mother BakerS Fruit Cake

Ingredients
- 34 lb butter
- 1 lb pecans
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 14 lb orange peel
- 1 box raisins
- 3 eggs
- 2 boxes chopped dates
- 1 lb brown sugar
- 4 c flour
- 12 lb candied pineapple
- 14 lb lemon peel
- 1 box currants
- 12 c dark syrup
Directions
- Cream butter and brown sugar well adding well beaten eggs flour and baking powder
- Add fruit that has been mixed with a cup of the flour
- Let pressure come to 5 open pet cock and cook one hour
- Close and raise to 15
