Mozzarella Meat Whirl

Ingredients

  • 1 12 lb ground beef
  • 12 c soft bread crumbs
  • 7 eggs slightly beaten
  • 1 Tbsp mustard
  • 18 tsp pepper
  • 3 tsp salt
  • 6 oz Mozzarella cheese sliced
  • 1 tsp dried parsley
  • 34 c catsup
  • 34 c water
  • 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce

Directions

  1. Mix ground beef bread crumbs eggs mustard pepper and salt Pat into 10 x 14-inch rectangle on waxed paper
  2. Place cheese slices on beef mixture
  3. Sprinkle with parsley
  4. Roll tightly as for jelly roll starting at short end and lifting paper with one hand
  5. Press ends to seal
  6. Transfer to shallow baking dish seam side down
  7. Combine catsup water and Worcestershire sauce pour over beef
  8. Bake at 375 for 1 hour and 10 minutes basting frequently
  9. Serve with sauce
