Mrs BeckS Brunswick Stew
Ingredients
- 1 hen
- 3 medium onions
- 12 head cabbage
- 1 12 or 2 qt tomatoes
- 3 c corn
- 2 c butter beans cooked
- 1 stick margarine
- sugar about 12 c
- 1 tsp salt
- 12 tsp pepper
Directions
- Cook the first 4 ingredients together on warm overnight Remove chicken bones and skin
- Cut up and add the other ingredients
- Cook until corn is tender
- Thicken with mashed potatoes
