Ms LindaS Jumbo Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients
- 12 c butter
- 12 c shortening
- 1 c firmly packed brown sugar
- 12 c sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 2 12 c all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp soda
- 12 tsp salt
- 1 12 oz pkg semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 c chopped nuts
Directions
- Cream butter and shortening
- Gradually add sugar beating until light and fluffy
- Add eggs and vanilla
- Combine flour soda and salt
- Add to creamed mixture
- Stir in chocolate chips and pecans
- Drop dough by scant 14 cupfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet
- Bake at 375 for 10 to 12 minutes
- Cool slightly on cookie sheet
- Remove to wire rack
