Ms LindaS Jumbo Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients

• 12 c butter
• 12 c shortening
• 1 c firmly packed brown sugar
• 12 c sugar
• 2 eggs
• 2 tsp vanilla
• 2 12 c all-purpose flour
• 1 tsp soda
• 12 tsp salt
• 1 12 oz pkg semi-sweet chocolate chips
• 1 c chopped nuts

Directions

1. Cream butter and shortening
2. Gradually add sugar beating until light and fluffy
3. Add eggs and vanilla
4. Combine flour soda and salt
5. Add to creamed mixture
6. Stir in chocolate chips and pecans
7. Drop dough by scant 14 cupfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet
8. Bake at 375 for 10 to 12 minutes
9. Cool slightly on cookie sheet
10. Remove to wire rack
11. Yield
