Mushroom Fingers
Ingredients
- 3 c coarsely chopped fresh mushrooms
- 2 Tbsp finely chopped onion
- 4 Tbsp butter or margarine
- salt
- 4 Tbsp snipped parsley
- 1 c sour cream
- 12 slices day old bread
- paprika
Directions
- Over low flame saute mushrooms and onion in butter until soft drain if necessary
- Add salt to taste
- Combine parsley and sour cream add mushrooms and onion
- Chill several hours or overnight
- Trim crust from bread cut into 3 strips or into quarters
- Spread with mushroom mixture dust with paprika
- Bake at 350 for 15 minutes
- Makes 3 to 4 dozen appetizers
