Mushroom Rice Casserole

Ingredients

  • 12 c raw long grain rice
  • 1 4 oz can mushroom stems and pieces
  • 1 medium onion quartered and sliced thin
  • 1 can chicken or beef broth
  • 2 Tbsp margarine

Directions

  1. In 10-inch skillet brown dry rice
  2. Pour into medium casserole dish
  3. In same skillet melt margarine
  4. Saute onions mushrooms and seasonings until onions turn transparent
  5. Add broth and stir continuously to boil
