My Best Fruit Cake

Ingredients

• 1 13 c brown sugar
• 12 c plus 14 c butter
• 12 c plus 2 Tbsp sour cream
• 1 tsp soda
• 2 34 c sifted flour
• 2 Tbsp fruit juice
• 12 c molasses
• 3 c seeded raisins
• 4 eggs
• 1 12 c currants
• 1 c dates
• 6 oz citron peel
• 4 oz lemon peel
• 4 oz orange peel
• 12 c nutmeats blanched almonds
• 1 Tbsp cinnamon and mace
• 12 tsp cloves and nutmeg
