My Chili
Ingredients
- 2 to 3 lb stew beef
- 1 medium onion
- 1 medium green pepper
- 3 cloves garlic
- 3 Tbsp olive oil
- 1 Tbsp sugar
- 1 12 tsp salt
- 14 tsp pepper
- 4 to 8 tsp chili powder
- 2 cans whole tomatoes 28 oz
- 1 can tomato paste 12 oz
- 2 cans kidney beans 15 oz
Directions
- Cut or chop stew beef into 14-inch cubes
- Mix with chopped onion and green pepper
- Add garlic and olive oil brown in skillet
- Add balance of ingredients except kidney beans in slow cooker along with meat and simmer for 4 hours
- Add kidney beans and simmer additional 2 hours
- Serve
