My Chili

Ingredients

  • 2 to 3 lb stew beef
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 medium green pepper
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 3 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 Tbsp sugar
  • 1 12 tsp salt
  • 14 tsp pepper
  • 4 to 8 tsp chili powder
  • 2 cans whole tomatoes 28 oz
  • 1 can tomato paste 12 oz
  • 2 cans kidney beans 15 oz

Directions

  1. Cut or chop stew beef into 14-inch cubes
  2. Mix with chopped onion and green pepper
  3. Add garlic and olive oil brown in skillet
  4. Add balance of ingredients except kidney beans in slow cooker along with meat and simmer for 4 hours
  5. Add kidney beans and simmer additional 2 hours
  6. Serve
