My Favorite Fried Potatoes
Ingredients
- 6 c peeled and sliced potatoes
- 1 each diced bell peppers green and red
- 14 lb diced bacon slab
- 2 c sliced onions
- 1 c sliced mushrooms
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp garlic salt
- 14 c or more vegetable oil
Directions
- Fry onions bacon and mushrooms together turning frequently until bacon is sufficiently cooked not crispy
- In a separate frypan heat vegetable oil on medium-high temperature for 2 to 3 minutes
- Season sliced potatoes with paprika pepper and salt as listed in large bowl
- Reduce temperature to low-medium add sliced potatoes slowly to hot oil turn potatoes frequently
- Fry until light brown color is achieved
- Combine all ingredients in one frypan and cook an extra 10 to 15 minutes and serve
