My MotherS Eggnog
Ingredients
- 13 large eggs at room temperature
- 34 c granulated sugar
- 1 12 c brandy rum or bourbon
- 2 c whipping cream whipped
- freshly ground nutmeg
Directions
- Separate eggs
- Place in 2 large mixing bowls
- Add 6 tablespoons of sugar to each bowl
- Beat egg yolks and sugar until thick and deep yellow in color
- Add brandy rum or bourbon stir well
