My Own Squash Casserole

Ingredients

  • 6 c sliced yellow squash
  • 14 c chopped onion
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 c sour cream
  • 2 8 oz pkg of herb seasoned stuffing mix
  • 13 c melted butter

Directions

  1. Cook squash and onions in boiling salted water for 5 minutes Drain
  2. Combine soup and sour cream
  3. Fold in drained squash and onion
  4. Combine stuffing mix and butter
  5. Spread one half of the stuffing mixture in bottom of 9 x 12-inch baking dish
  6. Layer vegetable mixture on top
  7. Spoon rest of stuffing mixture as the final layer
  8. Bake at 350 for 25 to 30 minutes
