My Own Squash Casserole
Ingredients
- 6 c sliced yellow squash
- 14 c chopped onion
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 c sour cream
- 2 8 oz pkg of herb seasoned stuffing mix
- 13 c melted butter
Directions
- Cook squash and onions in boiling salted water for 5 minutes Drain
- Combine soup and sour cream
- Fold in drained squash and onion
- Combine stuffing mix and butter
- Spread one half of the stuffing mixture in bottom of 9 x 12-inch baking dish
- Layer vegetable mixture on top
- Spoon rest of stuffing mixture as the final layer
- Bake at 350 for 25 to 30 minutes
