Nancy LuthyS Festive Chowder
Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp butter
- 1 medium onion
- 5 c milk
- 6 slices cooked crumbled bacon
- 1 pkg Crab Delights flakes or chunks
- 1 c sliced celery
- 2 Tbsp flour
- 3 large potatoes 12-inch slices
Directions
- Melt butter in saucepan
- Stir in celery and chopped onion cook until tender
- Stir in flour salt and pepper if desired Gradually add milk stirring constantly
- Add potatoes
- Bring to boil simmer 15 minutes until potatoes are tender
- Add bacon and Crab Delights
- Heat 3 to 5 minutes more
- Makes 4 servings
