NancyS Boiled Fish

Ingredients

  • 4 firm texture fish steaks 5 to 7 oz or skinless fillets about 34-inch thick
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste
  • 2 Tbsp Parmesan cheese freshly grated

Directions

  1. Preheat broiler
  2. Rinse steaks or fillets pat dry with paper towels
  3. Season with salt and pepper
  4. Spread 1 to 1 12 tablespoons mayonnaise over top of each steak or fillet
  5. Sprinkle 1 12 teaspoons cheese on top of each
  6. Place on broiling pan Broil 4 to 6 inches from heat 5 to 8 minutes or until top is puffed and brown and fish tests done
  7. Serves 4
