NannyS Tea Cake

Ingredients

• 1 c sugar
• 1 c shortening
• 2 eggs
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• 12 tsp lemon extract
• 4 c flour all-purpose

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 350
2. In large bowl cream the sugar shortening eggs and extracts
3. Gradually add flour kneading until mixture is stiff enough to roll
4. On lightly floured surface roll dough 14-inch thick
5. Cut into desired shapes Place on greased cookie sheets and bake for 10 minutes
6. Makes 6 dozen
