Neapolitan Pork Chops

Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- 1 clove garlic minced
- 6 pork rib or loin chops cut about 34 to 1-inch thick
- 1 tsp salt
- 14 tsp pepper
- 1 lb mushrooms cleaned and sliced
- 2 green peppers cleaned and chopped
- 12 c canned tomatoes sieved
- 3 Tbsp dry white wine
Directions
- Heat oil in a large heavy skillet
- Add garlic and cook until lightly browned
- Season chops with salt and pepper
- Put chops in skillet and brown on both sides
- Add mushrooms green pepper sieved tomatoes and wine
- Cover and cook over low heat about 1 hour or until tender
- Makes 6 servings
