Nesselrood Pudding
Ingredients
- whipping cream
- powdered sugar to suit your taste
- 12 tsp vanilla
- 2 egg whites
- 2 Tbsp sugar
- 13 c slivered almonds
- 12 c maraschino cherries quartered
- 12 c Grape-Nuts
Directions
- Whip enough whipping cream to make 1 cup
- Sweeten with powdered sugar to suit your taste
- Add vanilla
- Beat eggs until foamy
- Add sugar gradually and beat until stiff
- Toast almonds Put almonds Grape-Nuts and 1 tablespoon cherry juice in large mixing bowl
- Add whipped cream
- Blend together
- Fold in egg whites last
- Pour all into desired serving bowl or flat pan and freeze
