Never Fail Boiled Icing

Ingredients
- 1 c sugar
- 13 c water
- 1 tsp vinegar
- 2 egg whites
- 34 tsp vanilla extract
Directions
- Boil together sugar water and vinegar to 238 or until syrup spins a long thread when dropped from spoon
- Beat egg whites stiff
- Gradually add syrup beating constantly until frosting holds shape
- Add vanilla
- Makes enough for 2 layers
