Never Fail Caramel Icing
Ingredients
- 13 c oleo
- 1 c brown sugar packed
- 14 c milk
- 2 c sifted powdered sugar
Directions
- Melt butter in saucepan
- Add brown sugar
- Boil over low heat stirring constantly
- Stir in milk and bring to a boil again stirring constantly
- Remove from heat and cool to lukewarm
- Gradually add powdered sugar until thick enough to spread
