Never Fail Dumplings
Ingredients
- 1 12 c flour
- 3 Tbsp shortening
- 1 egg well beaten
- 5 Tbsp water
- 12 tsp salt
Directions
- Mix flour salt and shortening
- Add water and egg making soft dough
- Divide into two parts
- Roll out into very thin sheets and let dry for 15 minutes
- Cut into small strips and drop in boiling broth
- Cook until tender
