Never Fail Icing

Ingredients

  • 1 c sugar
  • 3 Tbsp water
  • 2 egg whites
  • 1 Tbsp vanilla
  • 14 tsp cream of tartar
  • pinch of salt

Directions

  1. Put all of the ingredients in top of double boiler
  2. In bottom have water boiling
  3. Beat with egg beater constantly for 7 minutes
  4. Remove from heat and spread on cake
