Never Fail Peanut Brittle

Ingredients
- 3 c sugar
- 1 18 c white Karo
- 12 c water
- 4 c Spanish peanuts
- 3 tsp butter
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 12 tsp soda
Directions
- Boil sugar Karo and water until thread spins or 250
- Add peanuts and cook until a few drops dropped in a cup of cold water cracks
- Remove from heat
- Add butter vanilla and soda
- Pour onto buttered cookie sheet spreading as thin as possible with spoon
