Never Fail Peanut Brittle

Ingredients

• 3 c sugar
• 1 18 c white Karo
• 12 c water
• 4 c Spanish peanuts
• 3 tsp butter
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 2 12 tsp soda

Directions

1. Boil sugar Karo and water until thread spins or 250
2. Add peanuts and cook until a few drops dropped in a cup of cold water cracks
3. Remove from heat
4. Add butter vanilla and soda
5. Pour onto buttered cookie sheet spreading as thin as possible with spoon
