Never Failing Biscuits

Ingredients

  • 1 c warm water
  • 2 pkg dry yeast
  • 3 Tbsp sugar
  • 34 c cooking oil
  • 2 c buttermilk
  • 1 tsp soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 5 c self-rising flour

Directions

  1. Mix the water yeast and sugar
  2. Stir to dissolve add the oil buttermilk soda and salt
  3. Mix well
  4. Add the flour one cup at a time mixing well after each cup
  5. Cover mixing bowl with a plate or foil and refrigerate overnight or a few hours
  6. Each time you wish to use some stir dough lightly cut off the amount you want
  7. Knead on floured board or wax paper
  8. Cut off rolls and bake at 450 until brown about 15 minutes
