Never Failing Biscuits
Ingredients
- 1 c warm water
- 2 pkg dry yeast
- 3 Tbsp sugar
- 34 c cooking oil
- 2 c buttermilk
- 1 tsp soda
- 1 tsp salt
- 5 c self-rising flour
Directions
- Mix the water yeast and sugar
- Stir to dissolve add the oil buttermilk soda and salt
- Mix well
- Add the flour one cup at a time mixing well after each cup
- Cover mixing bowl with a plate or foil and refrigerate overnight or a few hours
- Each time you wish to use some stir dough lightly cut off the amount you want
- Knead on floured board or wax paper
- Cut off rolls and bake at 450 until brown about 15 minutes
