New England Pumpkin Pie

Ingredients

• 1 c sugar
• 14 tsp salt
• 14 tsp cinnamon
• 14 tsp ginger
• 14 tsp nutmeg
• 1 c pumpkin baked or stewed
• 2 egg yolks
• 1 c milk
• 1 Tbsp flour

Directions

1. Thicken boiling milk with flour mix flour with milk and cook until smooth
2. Mix all other ingredients except egg whites
3. When thoroughly mixed add slightly beaten egg whites
4. Bake until brown on top well done
5. Bake in 425 oven first 15 minutes then 325 for 30 plus minutes
