New England Style Clam Chowder

Ingredients
- 4 c raw potatoes diced
- 2 12 c water
- 1 tsp salt
- 4 slices bacon
- 12 c chopped onion
- 2 c evaporated milk
- 2 c chopped clams and liquid
Directions
- Cook potatoes water and salt until tender
- Cut bacon into small pieces and fry until almost cooked
- Add onion and cook slowly until bacon is completely cooked
- Combine all cooked ingredients in one pot and add milk and clams
- Bring to a boil however do not boil
