New Orleans Pecan Pie
Ingredients
- 2 eggs separated or 3 eggs for a bigger pie
- 1 8 oz sour cream
- 1 c granulated sugar
- 14 c flour
- 12 tsp vanilla
- 14 tsp salt
- 1 9-inch baked pie crust
- 1 c brown sugar
- 1 c chopped pecan
Directions
- In saucepan combine egg yolks sour cream granulated sugar flour vanilla and salt
- Cook and stir over medium heat until thickened about 5 to 10 minutes
- Pour into baked pie shell Set aside
