No Knead Bread

Ingredients

  • 2 pkg dry yeast
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 13 c sugar
  • 2 c all-purpose flour
  • 14 c cooking oil
  • 1 c milk
  • 1 c water
  • 1 egg

Directions

  1. Combine dry ingredients in large mixer bowl
  2. Set aside
  3. In saucepan over low heat combine oil milk and water
  4. Heat until temperature reaches 120 to 130
  5. Combine dry ingredients with the liquids add egg
  6. Blend at low mixer speed until moistened
  7. Beat three minutes at medium speed
  8. By hand stir in another 2 or 2 12 cups of flour to form a stiff batter
  9. Batter will follow spoon Cover batter with damp cloth let rise in warm place 80 to 85 until light and doubled about 50 minutes
  10. Stir down batter spoon into greased two 8 x 4-inch loaf pans batter does not rise a second time before baking
  11. Immediately place in oven
  12. Bake at 375 for 30 to 35 minutes
  13. Cool on rack
  14. Brush with melted butter
