Ingredients

  • 2 c flour
  • dash of salt
  • 1 8 oz pkg cream cheese room temperature
  • 1 c margarine
  • 1 jar apricot preserves

Directions

  1. Sift flour and salt
  2. Put cream cheese and butter in a bowl and blend
  3. Add sifted ingredients blend and cover
  4. Chill
  5. Heat oven to 350
  6. Divide dough into small portions
  7. Roll on floured board about 18 inch thick and 3 inches square
  8. Place a scant tablespoonful of preserves in center of dough and fold 2 opposite corners to center
  9. Pinch and seal
  10. Place on ungreased cookie sheet 2 inches apart
  11. Bake 20 minutes until edges are lightly browned
