No Sugar Apricot CookiesDiabetic
Ingredients
- 2 c flour
- dash of salt
- 1 8 oz pkg cream cheese room temperature
- 1 c margarine
- 1 jar apricot preserves
Directions
- Sift flour and salt
- Put cream cheese and butter in a bowl and blend
- Add sifted ingredients blend and cover
- Chill
- Heat oven to 350
- Divide dough into small portions
- Roll on floured board about 18 inch thick and 3 inches square
- Place a scant tablespoonful of preserves in center of dough and fold 2 opposite corners to center
- Pinch and seal
- Place on ungreased cookie sheet 2 inches apart
- Bake 20 minutes until edges are lightly browned
