Combine sugar 2 egg yolks and milk together Bring to boiling point Take off stove and add Jello Cool Add stiffly beaten egg whites Put in refrigerator When it starts to set add whipped cream and drained pineapple Break up half of cake into a 9 x 12 dish Pour half the jello mixture over cake pieces Break up rest of cake over jello mixture and add remaining jello mixture Sprinkle nuts over top Chill
