North Carolina Corn Pone

Ingredients
- 1 c water ground meal
- 1 Tbsp lard
- 12 tsp salt
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 12 c milk
- enough water to make soft batter
Directions
- Mix ingredients well
- Bake or fry in pones small cakes until light brown
- If baking bake at 400 for 15 minutes
