Nut Cake

Ingredients
- 1 c pecans
- 12 c raisins
- 2 c flour
- 12 tsp nutmeg cloves and mace
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp soda
- 2 sticks butter
- 1 c sugar
- 5 eggs separated
- 12 c molasses
- 14 c brandy sherry or whiskey
Directions
- Break up nuts mix half of the flour with raisins and nuts Sift other flour with spices and soda
- Cream butter and sugar Add beaten yolks molasses and wine
- Fold in beaten egg whites then floured raisins and nuts lastly the sifted flour
- Pour into greased pan
- Bake 2 hours at 300
- Cool
- Sprinkle with wine whiskey or brandy
- Wrap in waxed paper
