Nut Pudding

Ingredients

  • 1 c soft bread crumbs
  • 2 c scalded milk
  • 1 Tbsp butter
  • 1 c chopped nuts
  • 12 tsp salt
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 34 c sugar
  • juice and grated rind of 1 lemon
  • 2 egg whites stiffly beaten
  • 2 sq chocolate melted

Directions

  1. Mix bread crumbs milk butter nuts salt egg yolks sugar chocolate and lemon
  2. Fold in the egg whites and pour into a buttered mold
  3. Bake in moderate oven about 25 minutes
