Oatmeal Apple Cookies

Ingredients

• 34 c buttered Crisco
• 1 14 c firmly packed brown sugar
• 1 egg
• 14 c milk
• 1 12 tsp vanilla
• 3 c oats
• 1 c flour
• 1 14 tsp cinnamon
• 14 tsp nutmeg
• 12 tsp baking soda
• 12 tsp salt
• 1 c diced apples
• 34 c raisins optional
• 34 c walnuts optional

Directions

1. Cream Crisco brown sugar egg milk and vanilla on medium speed
2. Combine flour cinnamon nutmeg soda and salt
3. Beat into creamed mixture at low speed until well blended
4. Stir in oats Drop rounded tablespoonfuls of dough on greased cookie sheet Bake at 375 for 13 minutes
5. Cool 2 minutes on baking sheet Remove to cooling rack
6. Makes 2 12 dozen cookies
