Oatmeal Bake

Ingredients

• 14 lb butter or margarine
• 1 c white sugar
• 1 c brown sugar
• 1 c oatmeal
• 1 whole egg
• 2 egg whites save yolks
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 1 tsp soda
• 1 12 c flour
• 1 tsp cinnamon
• 14 tsp salt
• 1 14 c boiling water

Directions

1. Cream well butter white sugar and brown sugar
2. Pour 1 14 cups boiling water over 1 cup oatmeal
3. Add 1 whole egg 2 egg whites save yolks and 1 teaspoon vanilla
4. Sift together 1 12 cups flour 1 teaspoon soda 1 teaspoon cinnamon and 14 teaspoon salt
5. Combine creamed mixture and oatmeal gradually add dry mixture
6. Bake 30 minutes at 350
7. When taken from oven cover with following topping
