Oatmeal Bread

Ingredients
- 2 pkg dry yeast
- 14 c lukewarm water
- 2 c boiling water
- 1 12 c oatmeal
- 2 Tbsp shortening
- 14 c brown sugar
- 14 c molasses
- 1 12 tsp salt
- 1 c cold water
- 6 to 7 c flour
Directions
- Mix yeast in warm water
- Set aside
- To the boiling water add oatmeal shortening brown sugar molasses and salt and mix Add cold water
- When mixture is cooled to lukewarm add yeast mixture
- Mix in flour
- Knead on floured board
- Set to rise in warm place until double in bulk 1 hour
- Punch down shape into loaves and let rise again
- Bake at 350 for about 50 to 60 minutes
