Oatmeal Cake

Ingredients

• 1 cube butter or margarine
• 1 c quick oats
• 1 14 c boiling water
• 1 c white sugar
• 1 c brown sugar
• 2 eggs beaten
• 1 13 c flour
• 12 tsp salt
• 1 tsp baking soda
• 12 tsp nutmeg
• 1 tsp cinnamon

Directions

1. Combine butter or margarine quick oats and boiling water Let stand for 20 minutes
2. Then add white sugar brown sugar eggs flour salt baking soda nutmeg and cinnamon
3. Pour into a 9 x 13-inch pan and bake at 350 for 30 minutes
