Old-Fashioned Bread Stuffing

Ingredients
- 1 12 c chopped onion
- 1 12 c chopped celery
- 12 c margarine or butter
- 1 tsp poultry seasoning
- 1 tsp rubbed sage
- 1 tsp salt
- 12 c water or broth
- 8 c dried bread cubes 10 to 12 bread slices cubed and dried overnight
- dash of ground black pepper
Directions
- Cook and stir onion and celery in margarine in medium skillet over medium heat until tender
- Stir in seasonings
- Add onion mixture and add water or broth to bread cubes in large bowl
- Toss to mix
