Old-Fashioned Bread Stuffing
Ingredients
- 1 c finely chopped celery
- 12 c chopped onion
- 12 c butter or margarine
- 1 tsp poultry seasoning or sage
- 12 tsp salt
- 18 tsp pepper
- 8 c dry bread cubes
- 34 to 1 c chicken broth or water
Directions
- In a saucepan cook celery and onion in butter until tender but not brown
- Remove from heat and stir in poultry seasoning or sage salt and pepper
