Old-Fashioned Fudge

Ingredients

• 2 c sugar level
• 2 Tbsp cocoa
• 12 c milk
• 14 c margarine
• 14 c white corn syrup
• 1 tsp vanilla
• nuts optional

Directions

1. Mix sugar and cocoa
2. Add corn syrup and milk
3. Stir
4. Cook on medium heat stirring often until it reaches a soft ball stage 235 on a candy thermometer
5. Add butter and vanilla
6. Let cool Beat until it thickens and loses its shine
7. Pour into greased pan to harden
8. Nuts may be added just before pouring into pan
