Old-Fashioned Peanut Butter Cookies

Ingredients

• 2 12 c flour
• 12 tsp salt
• 12 tsp baking soda
• 1 c shortening
• 1 c peanut butter
• 1 c white sugar
• 1 c brown sugar packed
• 2 eggs

Directions

1. Mix flour salt and soda
2. Set aside
3. Mix fat and peanut butter
4. Add both kinds sugar
5. Mix well
6. Add eggs and mix well Stir flour mixture into peanut butter mix
7. Drop by teaspoonfuls on cookie sheet
8. Flatten with fork
9. Bake at 375 for 10 minutes or until lightly brown
10. Makes 4 to 5 dozen cookies
