Old-Style Pineapple Pudding
Ingredients
- 13 c cornstarch
- 14 c sugar
- 12 tsp salt
- 12 c cold water
- 2 14 c pineapple juice and water
- 1 Tbsp lemon juice
- 1 c crushed pineapple
- 3 egg whites beaten
Directions
- Mix cornstarch sugar and salt and dilute with cold water pineapple juice and boiling water
- Cook in double boiler stirring constantly until mixture thickens
- Cool slightly add lemon juice pineapple and beaten egg whites and pour in molds to chill and set
- Serve with custard or whipped cream
