Old-Timey Biscuits

Ingredients
- 5 c self-rising flour
- 3 c buttermilk
- 1 c lard
- 1 tsp sugar
Directions
- Sift flour and cut lard into mixture
- Add sugar and buttermilk mix well with hands
- Roll out and place apart on baking sheet that has been greased with margarine
- Bake at 450 for about 18 minutes or until brown on the bottom then broil tops until golden brown
- Brush margarine over the tops while hot
