Old-Timey Frosting

Ingredients

• 4 Tbsp. (heaping) plain flour
• 1 c. water
• 1 c. sugar
• 1 c. Crisco shortening

Directions

1. Add flour to water a little at a time.
2. Cook until real thick; let cool.
3. Mix sugar and shortening together until creamy.
4. Add flour mixture a little at a time.
5. Beat until smooth and creamy. Frosting will not get hard.
