Old English Cheese Crock

Ingredients
- 1 3 oz pkg cream cheese softened
- 14 c Port wine
- 2 tsp Dijon-style mustard
- 1 tsp basil
- 8 oz shredded sharp Cheddar cheese 2 c lightly packed
- 12 c toasted chopped almonds
- toasted slivered almonds
Directions
- In a mixing bowl beat cream cheese Port wine mustard and basil until thoroughly blended
- Mix in Cheddar cheese and chopped almonds
- Beat to blend thoroughly pack in crock or small bowls Cover and refrigerate 24 hours before serving
