Old Fashioned Chicken Dumplings

Ingredients
- 2 c flour plain
- 4 tsp Clabber Girl baking powder
- 12 tsp salt
- 2 Tbsp butter or lard
- about 34 c milk
Directions
- Cut shortening into flour salt and baking powder
- Add milk to make a stiff dough
- Roll very thin and cut in strips and drop into hot broth
- Cook about 10 to 15 minutes slowly
- Do not stir or remove top from boiler until ready to serve
