Old Fashioned Christmas Cookies

Ingredients

• 4 c flour
• 1 12 c sugar
• 2 tsp baking powder
• 1 tsp baking soda
• 1 tsp salt
• 1 c shortening
• 2 eggs
• milk
• 1 tsp vanilla

Directions

1. Combine flour sugar baking powder soda and salt
2. Mix well Add shortening and cut into flour mixture with a pastry blender Break eggs in a cup and fill with milk to make 1 cup add vanilla Add to flour mixture and mix well
3. Chill if desired for easier handling
4. Roll out on pastry cloth and cut out cookies
5. Bake at 350 for 8 to 10 minutes
6. Cool and decorate as desired
