Old Fashioned Jam Cake

Ingredients

• 2 c sugar
• 2 c jam
• 3 c flour
• 1 tsp cinnamon
• 5 eggs
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 1 tsp soda
• 12 pt pear or peach preserves
• 12 c nuts
• 1 tsp baking powder
• 1 c butter
• 3 Tbsp cocoa
• 1 c raisins
• 1 c buttermilk
• 1 tsp nutmeg
• 1 large apple chopped fine
