Old Fashioned Peach Cobbler

Ingredients
- 14 c cornstarch
- 14 c unsweetened apple juice
- 10 c sliced fresh peaches
- 1 c unsweetened apple juice
- 12 c sugar
- 14 tsp ground nutmeg
- 12 tsp almond extract
- 12 c all-purpose flour
- 18 tsp salt
- 18 tsp ground nutmeg
- 2 Tbsp margarine
- 1 to 1 12 Tbsp cold water
- 1 Tbsp all-purpose flour
- vegetable cooking spray
Directions
- Combine cornstarch and 14 cup apple juice stir well and set aside
- Combine peaches 1 cup apple juice sugar and 12 teaspoon nutmeg in a Dutch oven
- Bring to boil cover and reduce heat and simmer 8 to 10 minutes or until peaches are tender
- Stir in reserved cornstarch mixture
- Cook stirring constantly until thickened and bubbly
- Remove from heat stir in almond extract Combine 12 cup flour salt and 18 teaspoon nutmeg in a medium bowl
- Cut in margarine with a pastry blender sprinkle with cold water until moistened
- Roll in 8-inch square cut in strips
- Coat Dutch oven with cooking spray and arrange dough strips over fruit mixture
- Bake at 425 for 20 minutes
